American Osteopathic Association

The France Foundation
Since its inception in 1999, The France Foundation has been on the forefront of the planning, development, and implementation of multidisciplinary accredited education. It specializes in curriculum-based education aimed at providing learners with the opportunity to improve their performance as health care providers through a series of educational interactions in a variety of formats.
National Committee for Quality Assurance
The National Committee for Quality Assurance is a private, 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization dedicated to improving health care quality. Since its founding in 1990, NCQA has been a central figure in driving improvement throughout the health care system, helping to elevate the issue of health care quality to the top of the national agenda.
Oklahoma Area Health Education Center (OKAHEC)
The Oklahoma Area Health Education Center (OKAHEC) is a community-state-federal partnership established in 1984 at OSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, which coordinates the statewide network. The four Area Health Education Centers facilitate a regional approach to multidisciplinary and community-based health professional recruitment, education, and training. OKAHEC coordinates its program goals with state health agencies, health professional training programs, practitioners, educational institutions, community leaders, and many others to complete "The OKAHEC Path".
South Texas Area Health Education Center
The South Texas Area Health Education Center serves as the Program Office that provides administrative, fiscal, and programmatic oversight to five regional Centers. The five regional Centers are:
- Lower Rio Grande Valley AHEC (LRGV) located in Harlingen
- Mid Rio Grande Border AHEC located in Laredo
- South Central AHEC located in San Antonio
- South Coastal AHEC located in Corpus Christi
- Southwest Border AHEC located in Eagle Pass
